HOUSTON – A cement truck and a passenger vehicle have been involved in a serious accident in Montgomery County.
The wreck occurred on Highway 105, westbound, at Stewart Road. Initial information is that the cement truck ran a red light and struck the red car.
The car suffered major damage. A child’s car seat was seen on the ground next to the vehicle, but we’re told there was no child in the car at the time of the accident.
Three people were in the car at the time of the accident, with one of them trapped as a result of the collision. One victim was taken to a hospital by helicopter, listed in critical condition. The other two were not as seriously hurt.
