HOUSTON – A female pedestrian was killed on Sunday, June 28 after being struck by a motorcyclist in north Houston.
Around 2am that morning, the woman (who presently remains unidentified) was crossing the 5100 block of Irvington Boulevard when a man driving a black Honda motorcycle struck and killed her. The motorcyclist was taken to Ben Taub Hospital for minor injuries.
While at the hospital, the motorcyclist was discovered to be intoxicated while driving and could potentially face intoxication manslaughter charges.
