SAN ANTONIO – A head-on collision on Saturday, June 20 has left two men dead.
The accident occurred around 7am on I-10 near Ralph Fair Road.
Investigators report that a maroon Toyota was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control. The vehicle crossed the media, going into the westbound lanes, where it collided with two vehicles: a white pickup truck and a black pickup truck.
The Toyota and white truck burst into flames. The man driving the Toyota, 22-year-old Connor Czar, died at the scene. The driver of the white pickup, currently unidentified but believed to be in his early twenties, died from his injuries at University Hospital.
The passenger of the black pickup truck was treated for minor injuries.
Investigators believe that slick road conditions and accelerated speed were factors in the crash.
