Hit-and-Run Sends Motorcyclist to Hospital in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — A hit-and-run crash on the Northwest Side sent a motorcyclist to the hospital Wednesday, September 23 in San Antonio.

Police said the man had been riding in the 5300 block of Glen Ridge Drive around 2:43 a.m. when he was hit by a truck.

The impact broke the man’s leg, but he was able to bring the motorcycle to a stop. The bike fell over when he parked because he could not support it with a broken leg, police said.

He was taken to University Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the truck that hit the man took off without stopping to render aid, police said.
