One Killed, One Injured After Collision in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – One person was killed and another person was critically hurt in a head-on crash that involved five vehicles, including a school bus.

The wreck happened at about 7am on Loop 1604, north of Highway 87, in Eastern Bexar County.

The driver of a Toyota was seen swerving on the roadway just before clipping an East Central Independent School District bus. The car then crashed head-on into a Honda car. The driver of the Honda was killed. The driver of the Toyota – a teenage boy – was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. No one on the bus was hurt.

Two other vehicles crashed into the two cars after the initial wreck, but those drivers were not hurt.
