Paul Tolea Killed After Rear-Ended By Speeding Driver in Katy

KATY – Paul Tolea, 35, was killed on Grand Parkway in Cinco Ranch after getting rear-ended by a speeding driver on Friday, September 18.

Tolea was pronounced dead at the scene after a five-vehicle collision on Grand Parkway northbound between Westheimer Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard.

Police report that a vehicle was speeding over the Westheimer Parkway overpass, traveling too fast to stop for stalled traffic. The speeding vehicle rammed Tolea’s BMW from behind, driving him into a van that was stopped in front of him.

Paul Tolea is survived by his wife, Andrea, and their 3-year-old son, Mark.
