HOUSTON – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the McGowan intersection in the early morning on Saturday, June 13.
Dispatch reports that the driver of the car fled the scene. However, a wrecker driver just blocks away heard the report and spotted a vehicle with a dented hood and shattered windshield attempting to park in a parking lot.
The wrecker driver witness a male and female exiting the vehicle while brushing off broken glass. The wrecker driver notified police who were able to locate the driver and placed the individual in custody. The victim was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.
